Bosquet van Abdij Rolduc

The Bosquet of Rolduc Abbey is a park-like hillside forest surrounding this ancient abbey. There are some beautiful ponds in the forest. The name of this forest comes from the time of the French occupation. The forest is nowadays also called the 'Devil's Bosch', because of the steep slopes.

Rolduc Abbey is the largest and oldest preserved abbey complex in the Netherlands. Its history goes back more than 900 years. Today Rolduc is used as a hotel and conference center. You can enjoy a snack and a drink in Kloosterbrasserie De Kanunnik. In the summer months, the terrace on the inner square is open every afternoon. The beautiful church and crypt of Rolduc can be visited daily.
