Park Gravenroderoute Kerkrade

Park Gravenroderoute Kerkrade

Kerkrade may be situated in a rather remote corner of The Netherlands, but if you are looking for fun attractions and surprising sights, it is situated conveniently close to unique locations in Parkstad Limburg and – as you will discover on this cycle route – to the beautiful countryside, just over the German border. Moreover, the former mining town itself, has a lot to offer too, such as the centuries-old Rolduc Abbey, the lush botanical garden, the amazing Discovery Museum and the historical Nulland shaft. You will pass it all on the Park Gravenrode Route, just like numerous nice cafés and restaurants with outdoor terraces. You can park and start at Rolduc Abbey.
