Traces of War guided tour

If you would like to know more about Kerkrade during the Second World War, then book a guided tour of places in Kerkrade city centre that serve as reminders of this turbulent period of history. An expert guide will tell you all about the memorials, war graves, and ‘Stolpersteine’ (memorial cobbles) that you will encounter along the way. Another way of experiencing Kerkrade city centre is on a guided tour with a local. Along the route, you will learn all about the city’s rich history and the enormous transformation it has undergone in recent years. The tour lasts about two hours and ends at the Market square, where you can relax and enjoy some refreshments on one of the many terraces.
